NEW Beautiful Noreena Jasper From Australia #42

I picked up 50 pounds at Quartzite of Beautiful Noreena Jasper from the miner who has the claim in the land down under. I really like it! and it has a very high gloss!  Yes...yes... it has some fractures but it is not bad at all.  I must have gotten the good stuff because I really did not see many major fractures in the slabs I was cutting. The fractures are not the spidery fractures you get in some Jasper which tend to fall apart. The rock tends to break into angular pieces which contain the most wonderful "geometric", abstract designs. Until the rock is cut, you do not know what will be revealed. Most of the fractures are healed solid with hematite (the fine dark looking lines) or break evenly when pressure is applied on the slab. So when buying on Ebay, you need to be really careful and ask about the strength of the slab under pressure and get a dry picture. Do not let the wieners' scare you off on this issue, any cabber worth their salt would not have any problem with a slab that have a few fractures...they just let the rock tell them how they want to look.

The slabs I am offering I cherry picked out. These I put a great deal of pressure on to see if any separation or breaking was occurring. Trust me... this is a great Jasper your customers are going to love it!
Please wait for the downloads you will not be disappointed.

Some more auction details:
I typically don't slab or cut out out high end specimens like these, mainly because people like customized cab shapes and thickness or display pieces. So, I’m leaving the fun of cutting up to you. Consequently, I have only cut thin slices to prove the color and quality.
NOTE: I only cut slabs and sell rough. I just don't have the time for anything else like making cabs, therefore, all my offerings are the best CHOICE fresh cut pieces.
Lighting: All pictures taken in Sunlight. Specimens might appear darker in yellow indoor lighting. All specimen photo's are taken wet unless otherwise noted in the auction.
Condition: Like most ROUGH material that has been changed by the forces of nature there are bound to be flaws. If fractures are in the main cabing or display areas (center or significant design area) I'll call it out. But rest assured, if I say GEM that means no stress fractures on the sliced face or major working area and no pitting. Like most serious Morrisonite display collectors like myself, natural open or healed fractures (not stress fractures) most often times adds to the beauty, sometimes you want them, sometimes not (see my display and slab masterpieces).   Morrisonite will always be my passion.
Measurement: Taken at longest or widest point. Note: End piece thicknesses do vary from 2 mm up to 2 inches sometimes, so measurement is only at the thickest point. If under 1/4 inch I will measure by mm.
Payment: Please pay. Payment must be made within 5 days after auction is over. Fast payment and consistent customers get special Morrisonite freebees in their shipment as a thank you. If payment is being sent via mail or delayed please and let me know.
